As seen in public safety departments across the country, when one member becomes infected with COVID-19, it can spread across the agency like wildfire. To ensure personnel are fit to work and are appropriately self-isolating, departments must be proactive.
TargetSolutions created the COVID-19 Exposure credential to help agencies oversee their personnel. With this credential, departments can track the ongoing status of each individual’s health, moments of exposure and testing.
How to Use the COVID 19 Exposure Credential
To help departments closely monitor the health of their members, TargetSolutions bundled together custom activities, free training videos and other resources in the COVID-19 Exposure credential.
If an individual is potentially exposed to COVID-19, they can complete the COVID-19 Exposure Report. In this pre-built activity, they can record the date it happened, their dispatch number, the type of exposure that occurred and the infected patient’s symptoms. Once, submitted, the individual is enrolled in the credential.
The credential then prompts the individual to submit ongoing temperature evaluations, track when their self-isolation started and document their tests and results for COVID-19. To then prove the employee can return to work, the credential includes a clearance evaluation. The evaluation identifies who conducted the evaluation, where it took place and what actions are necessary.
Create Reports of Your Department’s Health, Exposures and Infections
While providing tools track personnel’s health during the current pandemic, TargetSolutions also provides reporting capabilities needed for the future. Using the COVID-19 credential, departments can create comprehensive reports with all their necessary documentation.
Reports of exposures, length of individual’s self-quarantine, tests and results and other data takes just a few clicks to produce. You can customize the type of report you want to create such as a daily temperature report, who is in self-isolation vs. in quarantine and more. These reports are then simple to use in worker’s compensation cases or other needs with a chronological, easy-to-read format.
Protect Employee Privacy
Supervisor Rights and other settings in the TargetSolutions LMS can help protect your department’s sensitive information in the COVID-19 credential. Departments can select who can see information within the credential and who is notified when updates are submitted. You can also determine which platform administrators can produce custom activity reports for an added level of security.
