After a thorough search and careful consideration, the CSD Pool Board of Directors have made the decision to change its third-party claims administration services from TRISTAR to Sedgwick Claims Management Services, effective July 1, 2020. The Pool Board felt it was time to make a transition based on the direction the Pool is headed.
While this is a major change, it will be mostly seamless for Pool members. Claims will still be submitted by email or phone and to the same email address and phone number as before. Additionally, Sedgwick will maintain a dedicated staff of adjusters for the Pool with all key positions located in Colorado.
The biggest changes will unfold behind the scenes and only improve member service and experience. Sedgwick brings industry-leading technology and methodology to the table that will provide the Pool and its members with improved insight into claims data. For members, this helps provide the lowest, most stable rates possible while ensuring the maximum amount of coverage.
As part of the transition, the Pool will be hosting a two webinars to introduce members to Sedgwick and their services. These are slotted for June 18 and 23 at 9:00 a.m. MDT, and members can register here. Lastly, the Pool will also be publishing additional guidance in their newsletter, through email, and on their website.
