A New HR Partnership and a New Way to Learn
You have a new ally in the world of human resources. CPS HR Consulting has partnered with the CSD Pool to provide members with human resources services and training designed exclusively for public entities.
CPS HR Consulting is a client-centered human resources and management consulting firm, specializing in solving the unique challenges faced by government agencies. CPS is a self-supported public agency, so they understand the issues facing the public sector and have served as a trusted advisor for over 30 years.
HR Academy
The first piece of this collaboration is a special discount on their new HR Academy courses. The HR Academy confers a unique designation, and the courses are held at the Jefferson County Courts building in Golden. These one and two-day courses focus on various elements of human resources management for public entities.
The HR Academy courses are listed on the right side of this page, highlighted in blue. Best of all, these courses are available to Pool members at a special discount. The pricing you see online and on this page are discounted from what non-Pool members would pay.
Remember, these costs can be further reduced by obtaining reimbursement through the Safety Grant Program. For more information on how to apply, visit csdpool.org/grantapp.
Consulting Services
CPS HR will also now be available for HR consulting to Pool members. CSD Pool members are eligible for up to ten hours of no-cost human resources consulting per year. After that, you can obtain CPS’ services at special rates.

Future Training
We are currently working with CPS to arrange additional quarterly HR training seminars in other regions of the state as we had in the past.
